Are you passionate about Moreton Bay Region and looking for an opportunity to contribute to the economic development of your region?
We’re looking for regional leaders with vision, drive, and business experience to join our Committee.
This role is suited to someone either locally based or with personal or business links with the region and is influential and experienced in economic outcomes. The successful candidates will be able to influence economic development opportunities and investment for our regional communities plus create jobs and growth. The role is a voluntary position, with an appointment term of three years.
What does the RDA Moreton Bay Committee do?
Committee members provide strategic guidance in pursuing economic and regional development opportunities. Providing effective governance, they oversee the development, implementation, and review of annual plans. They also have an active role in providing intelligence from their networks in the region to the Commonwealth government
What are the expectations of a Committee Member?
Committee members are expected to have high standards of conduct and ethics in applying the principles and practices of corporate governance.
Appointees to Committees will be required to comply with the requirements of the Funding Agreement with the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications (the department) and the RDA Better Practice Guide, which includes the RDA Code of Conduct and Ethics.
